Our partners

We work to create new opportunities for people and to build strong, democratic local communities. Our projects are carried out through partnerships with local YMCA and YWCA offices. YMCA and YWCA are two of the world’s largest movements. Together, they are present in more than 140 countries through local, member-led organizations.

These local YMCAs and YWCAs are our partners. They are governed by local people living throughout the country. As part of their communities, they understand the challenges people face and know which solutions work. We believe that we can create far greater change by working together than by standing alone.
